ECO shipping improvement
After talking to people that worked on Loading Docks I was aware of the 30-40 minute time period to unload a Trailer if all goes well. So I took my experience from view Cargo Planes in the Military and came up with a new version that reduces the unloading time to about 3 minutes. I have the same design for a Rail Car because some factories use both systems. The Truck shows Cargo with the side Door-system fully opened, yellow lines are where the side panel was,the rear view to the right has the Folding-Door in Green and starting to open upward with hinges at key point to reduce the space needed from the Dock area and use less leverage force to allow for a smaller motor of Manual use if desired. The Overhead View minus the roof shows the 3-sets of Rollers the turn 90 Degrees for side/rear movements.
No longer will a Forklift make 6-7 trips inside while risking damage to each load plus travel further into the Trailer for the last Skid. The Dock only need a similiar Roller system that can pop-up by lever.
The idea is to free-up the Truck to go to the next job and not waste fuel in the winter by leaving the Diesel engine running.
Sketch 1. is primative for Patent reasons but shows the concept.
Sketch 2. shows the quick way a Truck or BoxCar unloads in less than 5 minutes.
Trucking Firms free-up vehicles to go to the next job quicker and generate more income per day,the Drivers make shorter stops and if needed the same Truck can drive to the Re-load Dock for finished Goods and be done in about 5 minutes. This keep people working and saves fuel in the Winter.I re-designed the Trailer for stress-loads and Unique Safety-locks.The side Door system may also make for quick Customs Checks at borders to speed up Trade and save fuel for truck the idle in line.
