People in wheelchairs can't currently travel on airplanes in their own wheelchairs. Airlines are reluctant to give up the real estate and revenue on their aircraft. They must transfer twice from their wheelchair to an aisle-chair then to the airline seat in a difficult and dehumanizing process.

Our Freedom Seat design converts from a normal airline seat into a space where a wheelchair can be docked onboard an airliner. The process takes seconds and the wheelchair docking system is already used on buses and trains.

The chrome tubes give a sustained appearance as well as golden parts all around this desk. It is innovative with its four boxes separated by a shelf for transferring documents on one side or the other. The design and configuration of platforms for online learning such as MOOCs is an untested knowledge domain. We conceptualise a platform for knowledge gifting - whereby subject matter experts can be quickly trained to create and share their knowledge and receivers who are in need of such knowledge can interact. Mobility and power enable improved quality of life and economic development but current rural vehicle and power solutions in the developing world have either very limited utility or are too expensive to be broadly deployed. Part of the problem is that traditional vehicles (whether motorized or non-motorized) can only be used for transport and this limits their utility and productivity.
