For newer commercial aircraft, there is a large volume of material made with composites. Repair of these composites must be under a controlled environment. Temperature, humidity and particle have to be controlled at certain limit. Further, lots of components can't be removed from aircraft for repair. On wing repair foresee will be the only option. That is the reason I developed PCR for these needs. PCR consists of two sections. One is a control unit which controls all temperature, humidity and particle in certain limit per manual requirement, and the other is s shell which covers the damaged area in order to simulate a controlled environment during repair. The shell is clear in color, UV resistant, and has 4 suction cups to hold the shell in position. The shell had four openings -- two on top and two on the side for mechanics to perform the proposed repair propose. The two units connect with two hoses to supply and return air to maintain temperature, humidity and particle inside shell meeting the requirement.
