GPS and other related GNSS systems have changed the world, when they first came to the market. We rely on them for tracking, surveying and navigating anything, ranging from a multitude of products, goods and services, to navigating vessels, vehicles and cars, and steering traffic, plus many other countless military, civil and engineering applications. Their potential absence has become unthinkable.

However, the vulnerabilities, ephemeral unavailability and limitations of traditional satellite-based navigation systems (GNSS) like GPS are well-known. First of all, these GPS systems work only within “line of sight” – from the surface of the earth to the satellites in the sky. If you are under a canopy of trees, in the forest, inside of buildings or even only between high-rise buildings, for example, GPS won’t work anymore. Likewise, GPS doesn’t work in tunnels, not in mines, not in caves, not in tight canyons, not under water and not in space. The situation regarding the navigation systems based on terrestrial stations is even worse.

GPS relies on a significant number of satellites, which need regular maintenance and replacement, as well as service and management from terrestrial base stations. GPS, like all other GNSS systems, also is vulnerable to the epidemic hostile signal interruptions and manipulation as well as to solar or space radiation events.

Rogue actors manipulate the GPS signals as you read these words. GPS can be turned off or manipulated, or even hacked. However, our military, our society, our economy is heavily dependent on GPS. This substantial reliance on a single and highly vulnerable system to provide military and civil power, peace, prosperity, and economic development, carries equally substantial and obvious risks of failure, manipulation and service interruption. Our unique and exclusive reliance on GPS is a very risky bet.

A REVOLUTIONARY SOLUTION

The Sword of Durandal at its core is a pocket quantum device that uses inertia physics at quantum mechanical levels for navigation. It is a new revolutionary quantum physics based navigation device, which works anywhere and anytime – no matter where you are, at unmatched accuracy. It is much more than a full replacement of GPS and all other satellite based and terrestrial navigation systems. It works without satellites and without terrestrial stations, and can determine positions, travel routes, trajectories, and movements in 3-dimensional space, at a much higher accuracy than GPS. It is more than a million times more accurate than the best GPS signal. The Sword of Durandal device works in areas that so far have been inaccessible to GPS: under water in the deep sea, inside buildings, underground deep inside mountains as well as in deep space.

Our product “Sword of Durandal” in its final version will be a portable device which can determine the exact 3-dimensional position of anything anywhere based on quantum physical properties, and which hence can guide, track and navigate persons, vehicles, boats, airplanes, any vessels, missiles, and planes around the globe to their intended location, without the assistance of terrestrial stations or satellites, at a much higher accuracy than GPS. The Sword of Durandal will do this even in areas previously inaccessible to GPS, like the deep sea, underground, or in deep space.
