Proposed is a simple, low-cost[ble of rapid, autonomous, door-to-door mobility without requiring an operator/pilot license. Will be powered by our simple, low cost, maximally-efficient, rotary engine designs. 

All current modes of transportation are slow, dangerous and costly, using failing infrastructures. Several companies are attempting to address these problems with a large/heavy, electrified, vertical take-off-and-landing [VTOL] air-mobility approach. But this requires the usual slow, tedious land transport to and from centralized verti-ports. No point-to-point solution is planned. This approach has so many issues that it’s not workable for most transportation needs.

NOTE: weight is everything in aviation but battery/hybrid electric/hydrogen/fuel-cell systems are anything but light-weight, ‘clean’ or low-cost.

A better solution is needed.

Solution

We’re developing a novel ultra-quiet [HushTech], autonomous, networked, distributed[non-centralized], personal air mobility and transportation/delivery system capable of rapidly whisking a payload directly between destinations without intermediate modes of transport.

The PersonalJet© will take the form of compact, light-weight, NOVEL high-thrust propulsion having a 1-2 person cabin or, for ‘enthusiasts’, a strap-on architecture[ala James Bond/Rocket-Man]. For better fuel-efficiency/range/performance, stowable wings can be incorporated which provide faster, longer range capability yet still enable door-to-door service.

In future iteration, an air-taxi/ride-hailing/mobility-as-a-service business-model will increase the rate of adoption, lowering the usual barriers to entry these new air-mobility technologies face. This biz-model provides for maximal utilization, resulting in lowest costs and greatest public acceptance. This approach protects the inventions from pilfering/copy-cats. [NOT for military!!!]

The distributed point-to-point approach avoids infrastructure buildout and operating costs including usage hassles of centralized verti-ports/air-fields. PersonalJet© provides significantly faster, responsive and timely service, moving more customers/cargo than other transportation systems with the fewest units which further reduce costs. Charging time, lack of infrastructure, travel speed/distance, noise and costs, including low rate of adoption and public acceptance devastate competing electric solutions.

Networked auto-pilot ensures rapid adoption of the service, providing maximal safety, navigability and low cost without the downsides of piloted craft used by the competition. The ultra-light categorization provides rapid commercialization at the lowest cost in all aspects.
