Someone dies in a road accident in India roughly every three minutes. Per India's Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, overspeeding alone is linked to 71% of those fatalities — the single largest identifiable cause, ahead of all other violations combined. Separately, IIHS/NHTSA studies of 98 million vehicles show automatic emergency braking cuts rear-end crashes roughly in half. Both interventions exist today almost exclusively as factory-installed technology. Across India, the US, and Mexico, an estimated 234 million vehicles have no ADAS at all and no path to get it — not because the safety case is unproven, but because no aftermarket system has ever delivered actual vehicle control, only alerts.
Aha Auto AI's platform closes that gap. It retrofits onto an existing vehicle's throttle, brake, clutch, gear, and steering interfaces, giving it genuine closed-loop control — the same physical intervention a factory AEB or adaptive speed system performs, not a warning chime. Adaptive speed limiting governs throttle against posted limits, directly targeting overspeeding; independent brake actuation delivers the AEB layer for imminent collisions.
Perception is itself a hard problem — fusing radar and camera data reliably across many vehicle platforms and conditions. Equally hard, and unsolved industry-wide, was actuation: building a truly universal plug & play retrofit platform that adapts across 150+ different vehicle models, each routing throttle, braking, and transmission control differently, while bringing safety and comfort to vehicles already on the road rather than only the next new high-end car sold.
