The present invention is an all-direction and multi-channel headphone with 5 small speakers integrated in each ear-case. The headphone has at least 10 channels corresponding to 10 speakers. In each ear-case, there are 5 speakers on: the left or right, front, rear, top and bottom, which surround both auricles. With this technology architecture and topology, the headphone generates all-direction surround sound under a computer based multi-media application and corresponding computer software and its algorithm. All the 10 speakers have their own independent channels, and all can operate under a computer controlled system to simulate the relative direction of sound source for the listener. In the ten channel headphone, five speakers in each casing correspond to each of five channels mounted for producing a panoramic ten channel sound effect, which gives a listener an impression that they are entirely surrounded by the sound.
The present invention relates generally to 10-speaker, and more particularly to 10-channel headphone to provide all-direction surround sound. This invention of headphone device can particularly simulate the relative direction of sound source object for the listener.
FIG.1 shows the profile of the invention of headphone that view from front head face. 31 and 32 are headphone cases on both sides of head and throughout cover the auricles. 11 and 21 are top speakers over both auricles. 13 and 23 are both bottom speakers beneath to both auricles. 12 and 22 are both center speakers toward to both auricles, also the both speakers can be bass speakers.
FIG.2 shows the both headphone cases inside profile from their front side. 14 and 24 are both front speakers toward to front of auricles. 15 and 25 are both rear speakers toward to back of auricles.
Principle of the Device working
All speakers embedded inside both headphone cases have their own channels those are all controlled directly by computer. All speakers can independent work under computer controller, also they can work collaborate with other speakers to provide the variety directions sound wave to listener ear.
Fig.3 shows the profile of the invention of recording device. 101 is human head model that simulates head filtering sound function. 121 and 122 are the cases those are installed on the 101 both sides, left and right. Within each case, there are respectively five microphone recording devices, all the recording devices have strongly directional property.
