Silent Communicator is a wearable communication device that helps people communicate when speaking is difficult, unsafe, or impossible. The idea came from thinking about situations where verbal communication is limited, such as for people with speech impairments, in noisy workplaces, emergency situations, or environments where silence is important.

The system uses gloves fitted with flex sensors and a motion sensor to detect hand gestures. These gestures are converted into predefined messages and securely transmitted using end-to-end encryption through a central communication hub. The receiving glove decrypts the message and displays it on an OLED screen while also providing vibration feedback to notify the user.

Our goal is to make communication more accessible, private, and reliable. We are currently developing the first working prototype and continuously improving both the hardware and software to make the system practical for real-world use.
