A good audio system should make the user use it frequently to enjoy and explore music in every possible way without it challenging the user to get the best out of it. This proposal follows these thoughts.
Proposed Solution:
1. Modular, Re-configurable, Speaker System (MRSS): Refer FIG. 1. Four satellites and one subwoofer can be re-configured for stereo, soundbar, or surround mode using a set of base plates and brackets. It reduces manufacturing cost, reseller inventory, and offers user flexibility.
The satellites use a fullrange driver with a subwoofer. It needs only one crossover at the very low end of vocal range and offers coherent tone and phase, helping achieve natural sound stage.
2. Audio Power Amplifier Unit (APAU): Refer FIG. 2. It adds a unique ‘controlled load current feedback’ to the conventional voltage feedback amplifier. The result is a transfer function that makes force applied to the speaker cone proportional to input signal only, while compacting the output SPL across the entire audio frequency range. Output now has a relationship with audio signal only and not with impedance variation of the speaker.
The APAU also has a relay switching section, not shown in FIG. 2, which, in tandem with the MODE switch in the Audio Signal Processing Unit, switches the amplifier outputs from one connector set to another.
3. Audio Signal Processing Unit (ASPU): It employs analog circuits and an audio DSP that outputs three channels of true balanced signals. The accepted input is volume controlled analog stereo, so virtually anything!

Simplified user experience by eliminating remote control, source selector switch, display and menu‑driven settings. Directly manage volume through source devices such as smartphones, televisions, or projectors. Tonal quality, preset balance between channels is perfectly maintained across the volume control range and across stereo and surround listening modes. Effects do not drop at low volume levels like in AV Receivers! Traditional potentiometers, LEDs, and toggle switches assist in settings and reduce user learning curve. Eliminating source selector switch also makes system Karaoke ready.

Stereo Karaoke section allows microphones to be either lead or effects inputs. It supports both stereo and surrounds modes. Can’t sing, no problem, add your voice to chorus instead!

A MODE switch simultaneously changes listening mode from stereo to surround or vice versa and controls relays in APAU to switch between speaker sets for seamless changeover, while keeping tonal quality, and acoustic power exactly the same.
With correct speaker system and amplifier wattage, appropriate input signal interface and minor changes to application firmware, the exact same concept can be used in almost every other sound application from Rental Sound to Pro Audio to Install Sound to TV Home Theatre to Projector Home Theatre. Even commercial Cinema Theatres!
The fullrange-subwoofer topology has already been tested by me, successfully, in a 700 seat commercial cinema theatre for 12 hours a day for 12+ years!
There are no specialized components/speakers/processes needed to manufacture the proposed audio system.
