DTM + The Prevention Circle: A New Safety Layer for the Home

Most home fire safety systems focus on detecting smoke from the ceiling. DTM proposes an additional layer of protection: a patented detection architecture placed on the door lintel, one of the most important points during a home fire, because the door can separate smoke from breathable air, evacuation from sheltering, and a correct decision from a fatal mistake.

DTM is not intended to replace traditional smoke detectors. Its purpose is to complement them from another strategic position in the home. Just as a vehicle includes different airbags to protect from different points, DTM adds a new safety layer at the door, where people often have to decide whether to leave, close the door, wait, call for help, or avoid entering an area contaminated by smoke.

The DTM device is designed for real homes: easy to place, with no drilling, no wiring and no complex installation. Its configuration allows detection modules to be positioned around the door lintel, creating a repeatable, visible and universal location. This placement helps the system remain at a logical decision point without requiring technical knowledge from the user.

The innovation is not only in detection. The innovation is in turning the door into an active safety interface. During a fire, the door is not just an architectural element: it can be a protective barrier, an escape route, an alarm point and a reference for making decisions under pressure.

This is where The Prevention Circle comes in: a registered methodology created by Bayssys Technology from real firefighting experience. The Circle transforms early warning into a simple 8-step algorithm for survival and escape. It helps people observe, interpret, decide, evacuate, shelter, call, become visible and follow emergency instructions.

The union between DTM and The Prevention Circle turns an alarm into something more useful: an action guide. It is not enough for a device to sound; in an emergency, people need to know what to do, when to leave, when to close the door, when to remain protected and when to call emergency services. That is the differential value of this proposal.

DTM is conceived as an autonomous home system, low-consumption and easy to integrate into everyday life. Its design can be developed with lightweight housings, compact electronics, sensors adapted to domestic detection, acoustic and visual signaling, communication between modules and autonomous battery power. The priority is to make it a simple, accessible product ready to operate in homes without building work, without cables and without depending on a complex professional installation.

This solution can be especially valuable for families, children, older adults, rental homes, hotels, residences, social housing and public prevention campaigns. DTM provides the technical layer; The Prevention Circle provides the human layer. Together, they form a more complete, inclusive and teachable home-safety proposal.

Current home fire risks are changing. Lithium batteries, synthetic materials, fast smoke spread and delays in decision-making require new protection tools. DTM and The Prevention Circle respond to this challenge with a clear idea: detect earlier, understand better and act correctly when every second counts.
