ACTA-TechUS, Inc. has developed and patented a methodology to use semiconductors as heat pumps with extremely high efficiency. This has the potential to completely eliminate the need for Freon refrigerants and compressors in virtually all types of refrigeration from HVAC, appliances, automotive, data centers, grocery stores, trucking, refrigerated warehouses, aerospace, nuclear energy reactors (UMR), industrial, pharmaceutical development, medical applications, drug and blood storage and many other areas. We have completed our 4th generation of prototypes successfully with high reliability, low power consumption and high thermal performance.
Compared to industry standard TEC products we have achieved an almost 250% improvement in performance. We were able to achieve this result using our background in photonics, optics and materials science. This has allowed us to drastically reduce the systems thermal impedance compared to convention products, thus allowing us to remove any heat created by the semiconductors and a much faster rate, which is responsible for the much higher efficiency and thermal performance. It is extremely simple and low cost to manufacture and can be completely made in the US. It uses NO toxic or climate hazardous materials. Compressors with Freon use pressures between 350 and 500 psi. Our system uses less than 20 psi just to circulate our proprietary non-toxic cooling fluid. This contributes to the reliability longevity and ease of implementation into any product requiring thermal management.
The system is infinitely variable allowing delivery of just enough thermal capacity which contributes to the systems efficiency and low energy operating cost. It is DC voltage operated system allowing direct operation from Solar Panels and battery systems. It is a modular system that is scalable from 1,000 BTU's to 100,000 BTU's for everything from small refrigerators to huge refrigerated warehouses.
