Manual Charger With Floating Magnets and Damped Movement for Electronic Devices

The "MANUAL CHARGER WITH FLOATING MAGNETS AND DAMPED MOTION FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES" is a machine capable of converting the natural swaying movements of a person into energy to charge a mobile device. This electric generator is not conventional (rotational) but rather a linear generator; that is, the movement occurs with a swaying motion in a single dimension. When walking, a person typically moves in a repetitive vertical swaying motion with each step. This device converts that mechanical energy into electrical energy using levitating permanent magnets. Because these magnets do not bounce off a spring or elastic material but rather float in the air due to their own magnetic field, an ideal, frictionless damper is created, thus optimizing the conversion to electrical energy. The stabilized energy can then be delivered to a mobile device via its USB output.

This electric generator allows you to obtain electrical energy by moving it with only one hand, unlike dynamo generators or rotary generators with a hand crank, where you need both hands to generate electrical energy.

This generator uses the following principle: a potential difference or voltage is generated at the terminals of a conductive suction traversed by a variable magnetic field. Therefore, it contains a series of coils arranged in such a way as to optimize the voltage generated between its terminals, being able to generate up to 50 volts in direct current. However, for the present application, it has been regulated to 7.5 volts, which are stabilized and rectified to charge an internal battery.

This device allows you to generate electrical energy using the movement of the human body, either by placing it in a backpack when you go for a walk and it is activated by body movement, or by intentionally generating movement with one hand.

This invention was a finalist in a national invention competition in Peru and was publicized nationwide through television and the internet.
