The user cuts the nozzle once at its widest point near the base, about an inch and a half from the canister, leaving a wide diameter stub. A rear clamp nut drives an internal taper over a split collet, clamping the device to that stub with enough force to hold against a pneumatic or powered dispensing gun. No threads on the cartridge. No proprietary tube required.
A front compression cap applies even circumferential squeeze to an FKM outlet at the tip. The user dials bead size to fine, medium, or large across seven and a half full rotations, with a positive audible click at each calibrated position so the same bead size can be found again by feel. Rotating to FULL SEAL requires a deliberate push-to-lock action before the final turns engage, preventing accidental closure. At FULL SEAL the outlet is pinched to zero. No separate cap to lose.
What makes this different from anything on the market is the triple moisture barrier. A chemically resistant FKM or butyl seal at the rear clamps around the nozzle stub, blocking the entry point every existing resealable nozzle ignores. A sacrificial buffer chamber between the rear seal and the tip intercepts any trace moisture that slips past. The FKM outlet closes the tip at FULL SEAL. Three independent barriers where every other product on the market has none. Ordinary silicone degrades under polyurethane chemistry and lets moisture through. FKM and butyl don't.
The device is also self-clearing. Rotating to FULL SEAL squeezes residual material forward and out of the bore so almost nothing is left inside to harden. Reopening flexes the outlet and cracks loose any skin that does form. No picking, no wasted first squeeze.
The same core platform scales across a full product line. A low-cost DialGrip Home uses one-way internal ribs for push-on installation on everyday household caulk. A DialGrip Pro adds calibrated bead settings, a storage lock, and a synchronized smoothing fin that adjusts its finishing radius to match the selected bead size. Manufacturing uses injection-molded glass-filled nylon and standard FKM or butyl elastomers, keeping unit cost in line with existing premium nozzle accessories while delivering something the marine industry has needed for fifty years and never had.
