Vascular interventional procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, and neuroendovascular interventions require arterial or venous puncture access, commonly through femoral, radial, or brachial vessels. One of the most frequent complications following sheath removal is post-puncture bleeding, which may lead to hematoma formation, pseudoaneurysm, prolonged recovery, and increased healthcare costs.
Current hemostasis methods rely heavily on manual compression, bulky external compression systems, or vascular closure devices. These approaches may be operator-dependent, uncomfortable for patients, and often do not allow direct visualization of the puncture site during compression.
The Moscote Mini C-Clamp is a compact, reusable external hemostasis device designed to provide precise, controlled compression while enabling continuous visual monitoring of the puncture site. The device features an ergonomic anatomical C-shaped frame with an adjustable compression knob that allows gradual and targeted pressure application directly over the vascular access point.
Its key innovation lies in a transparent base chamber integrated with a negative suction port, which can be connected to a standard syringe. Gentle negative pressure clears blood from the field, creating a cleaner visualization window and allowing clinicians to immediately detect persistent bleeding or re-bleeding during hemostasis.
