This device would complement current global positioning system (GPS) privately owned vehicle trackers which are sold to anyone who wants to map out a destination or is lost. The device would actually simultaneously transmit a GPS navigation broadcast signal to installed receptors along major highways and roads througout the U.S.
As the cost of energy increases engineers must design more energy efficient ways to perform common everyday task. The energy efficient cookware (E-Cookware) reduces stovetop cook times and improves the heat transfer from the cookware bottom to the food in the pot. The trapped hot air reduces cooking time and provides even warming of food.
Detection of chemical and biological weapons is an urgent and pressing problem for the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Until recently detection of chemical vapors using laser spectrometers was limited to smaller more volatile chemical species due to the narrow tuning range for conventional diode lasers.
Water Mortar Currently fire suppression systems use water at a flow rate of 750 to 1500 gpm. This causes alot of atomization, as a 1500 gpm flow is traveling at 120 mph, as it leaves a 1in nozzle. In a hot fire, most of this water is turned into steam, and goes into the atmosphere.
The basic Idea to design a Shri Yantra Based Patch antenna for stress removal of Brain. The design of Shri Yantra is a very ancient geometry design of India. I got the idea that this yantra has some special frequency radiation associated with it so i decided to build it.
The DeskSpacer II is a quadrilateral shaped utility desk organizer constructed of high-impact durable, lightweight injection molded plastic with a thickness of 16th -18th of an inch, a 10° to 15° slope on the top, a height (front slope) of 8.5 inches, a (back slope) height of 10 inches, a width of 8.5 inches,
The University of Louisville ASME Chapter is designing a fully enclosed, 3-wheel, recumbent utility bike. The design includes provision for over 13 cubic feet of storage capacity by employing two side pods and a rear cargo area. The amount of cargo space allows for the hauling of a full load of grocieries,
The left-ventricular stroke volume (or stroke volume, for short) is how much volume of blood the heart pumps with each heart beat. Stroke volume is important because it is a direct indicator of heart efficiency and health. Today, stroke volume can only be measured invasively using a Swan-Ganz catheter or via ultrasound echocardiography.
The reason rooftop turbine designs have not enjoyed commercial success in the past is more due to technological shortcomings than demand. Companies have tried to scale down familiar fan blade style designs that would normally be mounted on a tower to avoid turbulence, but these mini-turbines lack adequate surface area to be efficient.
The universal rationale for the massive public commitment to wind power is that it is environmentally benign. But land based wind power has at least two major environmental problems—noise and the killing of bird populations that has begun to cause serious concern among mainstream environmentalists. As an alternative we propose an airborne wind turbine.
