Inspired by: My designs are inspired by the belief that shelter should do more than protect people from the environment. It should help sustain them. Dream Habitat grew from the idea that a home, greenhouse, or community structure can become living infrastructure: a place that produces food, conserves water, rebuilds soil, reduces waste, and creates meaningful work. As a veteran, engineer, inventor, and patent attorney, I am especially motivated by systems that can serve people who are often failed first by fragile infrastructure, including homeless veterans, disaster-affected communities, and remote settlements.
