Inspired by: It all began from wanting to help those dealing with Autism and other similar conditions that cause tactile defensiveness. It is something that can be detected at a very young age and can be dealt with using a treatment called "deep pressure therapy" according to which by increasing the amount of tactile stimulus (using nonliving things) one desensitizes the subject and makes them comfortable with the idea of human touch. It also helps them concentrate and allows them to handle their reaction to excess sensory stimulus. But then I realized, this is something that can help so many others. It should be something that doesnt act as an aid and is something that one can imagine having in their lives, homes and hospitals. It is a small step towards a happier tomorrow.
