Overview:

The Opener is a 3D printed assistive tool designed to open/close screw-on caps on bottles. It operates a ratchet mechanism that removes the cap with ease. The opener essentially acts as a force multiplier and focus it on the edge of the bottle cap. The compact design makes it easy to use. The tool is available in different sizes designed to fit a wide range of caps diameters. Soft on the hand while maintaining a secure grip on smooth or ribbed caps.

Use:

Position the tool on top of the bottle, twist the tool to remove or screw the cap.

Disability:

Users who have arthritis, limited finger dexterity or other related disabilities. It makes the process of opening a bottle much more manageable.
