Apexzlink Multimodal Logistics Marketplace is a digital solution that facilitates the booking, management and streamlining of shipment request process for customers, drivers, and companies using various modes of transportation like a combination of trucking, rail, and shipping. (e.g., road, rail, sea, air) in a single, integrated process. It will digitize the worlds of supply chain management and logistics, routing, mobile and telematics; transportation management; global trade intelligence; e-commerce shipping and fulfilment; broker and forwarder enterprise systems. The platform will provide a comprehensive view of operations with real-time tracking, performance metrics, optimize routes, track shipments in real time, automate invoicing, enable customers to make payments, send and receive funds and gain actionable insights. It will help plan, allocate and execute shipments; rate, audit and pay transportation invoices; access global trade data; file customs and security documents for imports and exports; and complete numerous other logistics processes by participating in a collaborative multimodal logistics.
The customers are the end-users and can create user account to place pickup & delivery requests via the platform, book shipments and track deliveries and choose the transportation mode and vehicle type needed for transport and let the platform calculate estimated costs based on various parameters, allowing customers to submit bid amounts for their requests and make payments.
Shippers can create user accounts as business owners and present verifiable identification and business documents and must be vetted and approved by the platform administrator. It will enable drivers management, bid tracking, task creation, and geofencing capabilities. They can oversee their drivers assignments, manage tasks, and submit bids for shipment requests, can create new tasks, assign drivers, monitor performance metrics for operational efficiency, manage their customer questions by tracking ticket statuses, resolving issues quickly, and gathering feedback to improve service quality. The shippers receives real-time notifications of shipment requests and can accept or reject them based on availability and location, have access to tools for monitoring vehicle conditions, fuel thank levels, axle loads in real time, logging trips, and managing their schedules. The shippers can monitor their vehicle's status, and receive navigation instructions for pickups and deliveries, can update job statuses, communicate with customers, and manage their earnings and trip history efficiently.
Platform administrator is the platform owner who will be able to monitor the crucial data, manage order/booking requests, manage users, receive payments from the users on the platform, oversee and approved user registrations, service requests, and generate performance analytics, ensuring seamless operations across the platform.
