A positive displacement 'radial steam engine' with infinitely variable valve timing. Can theoretically apply 100% torque from 0 RPM up to the choked flow speed of the inlet piping. By utilizing a high speed digital FADEC with anticipatory algorithms, the speed, torque, and power, delivered to a rotating load can maximize thermal to mechanical energy conversion efficiency.

When coupled to an AC synchronous generator the combination will produce technical-grade electric power and can supply expensive VAR to correct poor power factors at the consumer's location. This system also offers 'black-start' capability and rotating reserve when connected to the local utility grid.

When operated as an Organic Rankine Cycle Engine system, the unit can recapture low-temperature sources of heat, such as the waste heat from modern data centers. Effectively changing the energy cost for cooling the data center from an expense to a recovered resource, better power and better reliability. Combined with low temperature solar collectors on the rooftop, which also reduce the building's cooling requirements, the buyer can offset 1/3rd (~8 hrs/day) of their electric bills.

S&T is currently working with {redacted} to place multiple 250-330kw gensets in {redacted} data centers where Bitcoin mining is currently taking place.

We are also working withe US EPA, and the Florida DEP, to provide low-cost electric power at various Brownfields to facilitate "energy intensive" cleanup efforts at the site. Following the cleanups, these Brightfields will supply power directly to the local economies.
