In the beginning of June of 2025 the fact was realized that any given three phase generator can be manipulated into a twelve phase generator by proper sizing of the permanent magnets on the rotor. This method was found on a homemade axial type generator and this unit produced twelve phase but the wiring on the stator is for three phase.
Dumbfounded, I tried making the same outcome using a radial three phase generator, and indeed this method is true. The method is simple but complicated. Now we are still in the basic six coil stator four magnet rotor arrangement. Further research is required for more poles. But anyway if you take the size of the four original magnets and keep only the outside circumference. Then with that circumference you draw six imaginary sizes to fit without crossing or lagging. Now you take one of those sizes and multiply it by four around the circumference. Then there you have it if you can come up with the magnets correlating to the size. Personally I did it backward in my personally made version where the coils fit with the magnet, but if you are trying to use an already functioning generator then this is my best guess. The inch, half inch measurements work for me on the prototypes. I do not have access to an over the counter model or the ability to size magnets currently to officially verify this fact beyond my workspace.
The proposed design allows a person to generate a greater average of direct current voltage without a capacitor. This increases the overall output voltage due to the adding of voltage where the phases cross each other.
Because the magnets are more evenly sized to the coils the maximum output is achieved. This is an improved version of what is currently available. Not only can it be used to improve existing devices it can be manufactured and used in the exact same places with the exact same market with no real geater production cost effect as to current three phase generators. In fact it may even heighten the demand.
In order to rectify the three phases into twelve the current methods of six diodes can be used. An alternative method that will reduce the torque needed to turn the rotor is to use two three phase rectifiers. One for each equal set of three coils.
Maybe this understanding can help to ease the burden of power production and allow opportunity for growth in different fields which rely on energy consumption and allow for bigger and better things to happen throughout the world.
