The XESS BP series of residence and business standby emergency power products store energy from any electric source and return the energy back to electric power when needed. The system is autonomous and comes complete with a leveling base and interconnect power adapter cable. With an energy density of 800 Wh/Kg and 1900 Wh/L this series of products is less costly and more efficient than battery systems. Installing in less than an hour, the main unit and leveling base are placed on flat ground close to the electric service's meter. The interconnect cable is plugged into the service between the meter base and the meter. Energy is stored as UHPG (Ultra-High Pressure Gas), typically air, and as super-heated / pressurized water. The system operates is multiple modes, standby power, supplimenting heat pumps, and hot water supply for the end user and potentially Nano-grid load balancing for the utility provider. The BP series is available soon in 100 to 500 kWh units for single phase 120/240 VAC services and in 480 VAC 3ph arrays for industrial applications. Grid level installations are also possible.
