The proposed development will allow to increase the efficiency of using energy of compressed air in piston motors for generating energy to move a vehicle or a stationary engine (with daily fluctuations in electricity consumption). The considered technical solution will contribute to improving the environmental and techno-economic indicators of piston motors when using compressed air in them.

Technical description: The piston pneumatic motor with electric (for example, induction) heating of air in cylinders, in one of which air is drawn in from the environment, compressed and supplied through an inlet valve and a connecting channel to an external chamber connected by channels and inlet valves to the working cylinders. A piston pneumatic motor with electric (e.g. induction) air heating in the cylinders comprises a compressor cylinder 1 with inlet 2 and exhaust 3 valves, an inlet channel 4, at the inlet 15 of which an air filter 5 is installed, a compressed air chamber 6, connected by a channel 7 to a compressor cylinder 1 equipped with electric heating (induction coil) 9,10,11, channel 8 and channels 12 and 13, inlet valves 14 and 15, e.g., with electric drives, working cylinders 16 and 17, which have exhaust valves 18 and 19, e.g., with a cam drive, through which the exhaust air from the working cylinders 16 and 17 is discharged into exhaust channels 20 and 21, which are connected to exhaust manifolds 22 and 23. Piston 24 of the compressor cylinder and pistons 25 and 26 of the working cylinders are connected by connecting rods 27, 28 and 29 to a common crankshaft 30.

Main advantages: The efficiency is increased by heating the compressed air, when cold compressed air enters the cylinder and is heated in the cylinder of the pneumatic motor.

Possible areas of application: The use of a pneumatic motor with electric heating of air in cylinders, for example as a power plant of a car, allows to eliminate the consumption of hydrocarbon fuel and emissions of toxic chemical compounds with exhaust gases, without the use of additional systems for their neutralization, and also significantly reduces the intensity of sound radiation.

The development status: Patents of Ukraine for utility models (UA 151746, 151742, 151743 and 157739) have been obtained for original technical solutions. Conclusion: Increasing the efficiency of using energy of compressed air in piston motors will improve their environmental and techno-economic indicators.
