LifeSense ESD is an Early Stage Medical Detection Device that detects disease by smell.

It uses a nano-optoelectronic sensor that detects, in parts per trillion, the volatile organic compounds that are the biomarkers of a disease. In 3 seconds or less, at a cost of $1 or less, it can detect and compare the VOCs to the biomarkers of a hundred or more diseases. Accuracy is targeted at 99.9%

The prototype will be built in house and use our own software. It will be connected to a smart phone via Bluetooth or cable. The ultimate goal is to have the LifeSense ESD put "in" a phone. Every time you talk, you're being tested.

Problem

Late Diagnosis Leading to Death.

Expensive ($1,000s) in tests and time consuming (8-18 months +) for medical appointments.

A delay in cancer surgery can lead to a 6-8% increase in the risk of death - July 25, 2024 | by City of Hope

In 2022, it was estimated that approximately 9.7 million people died from cancer worldwide. This number is projected to increase significantly by 2050, with estimates suggesting 18.2 million deaths from cancer.

Target Market

In 2025, an estimated 12.8 million doctors are practicing worldwide.

This number is expected to be insufficient.

Prior Art

Mass spectrometers have been used for over 30 years to detect volatile organics in parts per trillion.

Today a laboratory mass spectrometer measures 3' x 2.5' x 3'. They cost $200,000 to $500,000 or more. Detection times are sub-second to 55 seconds.

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM have committed to testing the LifeSense ESD prototype.

We are working with the University of New Mexico and local hospitals to bring this product to market.

Summary

LifeSense ESD is more affordable, faster, more accurate, and more avaliable to an individual patient than any existing technology. It can save lives.

Thank you.
