SunMod Villages consist of 900-1300 S.F. turnkey, LEED standard, multi-use, self-sustainable, energy and satellite based telecommunications (and ISP) equipped, modular, portable community, residential, commercial and industrial buildings with hydrogen cell backup and local grid. SunMods are self-contained with all power, electrical connections, telecommunications, digital and plumbing installed and sealed at the factory. Similarly residential units include built-ins to ensure code compliance.

The multi-use community center is equipped with the latest in computing and communication technologies to provide distance education, economic development (jobs and training) and business development and agricultural support, local medical care. Powered by integrated renewable energy systems, including solar and small wind (depending upon site) with hydrogen cell power storage (and hence, potable water and hydrogen), the center ends the digital divide and once installed becomes the hub of a fully serviced, energy efficient, self-sustaining community. Individual web portals protect privacy rights for individuals, small businesses, agricultural operations (and support), students and patients. Linkages to top educational resources overcome challenges of bringing quality education to rural students and to re-establish educational and community services following natural disasters. Web-based job training and business enterprises as well as web based services for voting, banking, international trade, agricultural support and community medical services insure equalization of quality of life and opportunities. Community center communications resources serve to protect rural communities from victimization and provide communication with central government resources. Eco-tourism not only provides income, but also, eliminates the need to damage or destroy vital environmental resources in the building of roads.

SunMod not only bring cultural and entertainment activities otherwise denied rural and other inhabitants, but also, allow sharing of local cultural activities and natural resources with others throughout the world.

For many developing and even developed nations, providing quality housing for residents is a priority. Residential SunMods meet this need with quality, energy efficient and self-sustaining 3 bedroom homes equipped with built-in furniture and appliances and reflecting local custom in its decor.

Business and industrial models allow for local job opportunities and growth. The community solar field insures power for both present and future activities. Use of hydrogen cell storage and backup insures availability of potable water and hydrogen (for vehicles and machinery).
SunMods not only end the digital divide and insure energy efficient communities, but also, overcome shortages in qualified educational and medical personnel that are at the root of many of the social inequities. They not only build stable, self-sustaining and self-determined communities, they also provide a means of addressing the needs of refuge camps and the devastating effects of natural disasters, not only by providing immediate homes, but also, re-establishment of social, community, communication and other services now not available or destroyed in natural disasters (earthquakes, Tsunami, floods, volcanoes, etc).

Designed to be delivered by helio-crane,SunMods can be immediately installed and not only bring relief, but also connection to the most remote regions on this Earth.
