Smart Purse Opti-Coupler

Imagine a purse (or any other consumer product surface) sporting the ability to change colors by the touch of the surface of your smart phone. This particular product, the Smart Purse," employs an Opti-Coupler (TM), a small insert that uses Bluetooth to control light output that is optically transmitted to a matching connector channeling thousands of fibers throughout the surface in random or pre-determined patterns including Alpha-numeric symbols. Side-fire optical arrays as shown in the video allow for fully flexible backgrounds.

By removing ALL electronics, wires, LEDs, sensors, and batteries from E-Textile and other applications, the product becomes more cost effective and less prone to failure by minimizing components.

The first "Smart Purse" will recognize callers and display pre-chosen color patterns on the surface plus point the camera at a color, touch the screen, and surfaces of the purse will match that color. It will also charge other digital devices, have other accessory functions, and allow for downloading future applications from the internet to control other accessories.
