Technology protects cars from accidents on bridges and in intersections
The objective of this project to develop a system with a phone application using iBeacon and sensors technology to track the cars in (Bridge Interchange) and (intersection blind point) by warning the drivers through Bluetooth phone alarm.
A lot of car accidents in (Bridge Interchange) or (intersection road with Temporary or permanent Fencing) because of The (intersection or Interchange Blind Point) where the cars across without warning.
Hardware Installation iBeacon with sensors technology to track the cars before entry the (intersection or Interchange Blind Point) and send warning Bluetooth phone alarm to drivers
Targeted Users (The Cars users into):
- (Bridge Interchange) (Government Responsible provide it)
- Intersection Road with Temporary Fencing (Constructor Responsible provide it)
- Intersection Road with Permanent Fencing (Owner Responsible provide it)
How it is working (technical explanation ):
It consists of two devices, each device has a (movement sensor) and an automatic Bluetooth message broadcast (iBeacon) for all devices in its range, in addition to a wireless controller that sends signals to the other device, and operates on the solar energy
The Method of work:
Each device is placed on a different side from the other, as a way to warn the road user. When crossing the car in front of one of the two devices, this device wirelessly sends a signal to other device to automatically broadcast Bluetooth messages (iBeacon) around its range to be a warning at the other end of the presence of an upcoming car.
The additional option:
We was add another option for those can’t use Bluetooth option by (automatic STOP sign board) it will do same goals: When crossing the car in front of one of the two devices, this device wirelessly sends a signal to other device to automatically open the (automatic STOP sign) to be a warning at the other end of the presence of an upcoming car.
The Main goals for this project to Supporting and increasing the road safety and security, but this does not prevent permanent and continuous caution on the Roads.
The Role of the Mobile Application (SafeUs program App)
Feature users without activating the application on the mobile:
You can use the service and benefit from it (with messages and warning signs) without downloading the application only by operating the mobile Bluetooth. (However, this is without a Full guarantee information that the device work or No) under Car driver responsibly.
Feature users and activate the application on the mobile:
You can use the service and take full advantage of it (with messages and warning signs) by operating the mobile Bluetooth with downloading and activating the special application (SafeUs App). (this will be fully guaranteeing the operation mechanism of the device, as activating application allows driver to ensure that the two devices in two parties are worked by automatic verification between two devices) And when the driver passes near one of devices, the application will be open automatically to confirm
