What is proposed is a trailer with extra lithium batteries for electric SUV's to allow them to go to remote places where recharging would not be available.

• Trailer to be equipped with batteries and necessary converter to extend EV range for SUV going off road
• Alternately, for cross country travel, any EV could pull a trailer. A trailer with low batteries could be swapped out for one with fully charged batteries at a servicing franchise making for fewer stops during long distance travel
• Trailer towing could be conventional if EV computerized trailer control were available widespread otherwise a steerable axle system could be used to ease backing like the Bruno Chariot wheelchair trailer
• Trailer roof would utilize solar panels to maximize mileage and recharge or maintain charge while parked
