The electric demand reducer is made to operate with two air conditioners/heat pumps. The device will monitor the 2 units request's to run from the thermostats. Electric demand is the amount of power used instantaneously. Electric generation has be sized to handle the demand. Thus when two units are running, the demand is higher than when a single unit is running. The device will insure that only one unit will run at a given time. The device will use machine learning (ML) to determine how to configure the two requests for run operation so that the units will run sequentially or interleaved. The sequential operation will lower the demand required of the electric utility. It will not reduce the total amount of electricity used.
