FAIR (Fuel Air Injection Rotary) Engine

FAIR engine replaces the air compression section of a Wankel rotary engine with a secondary combustion chamber; it executes two combustion cycles per shaft revolution. FAIR engine injects Oxygen Enriched Compressed Air (OECA) to accelerate the chemical reaction for thorough and clean combustion, it reduces NOX, HC, CO, etc. emissions.

Conventional four stroke engines inherent a few major problems:

  1. intake 79% nitrogen to retard the combustion
  2. sharing compression and combustion process with the same cylinder causes inefficiency to both cycles.
  3. Air dependency.

FAIR engine proposes a simple, efficient and clean solution for future propulsion applications.
