Consumer Needs: Consumers often need to compromize among styling, reliability/quality, performance, fuel economy, and cost when buying a car. Among them, the styling is the most important factor. The design of the head and tail lights are two most critical features that affect the styline of a car. Since there is no one design will meet the eyes of all consumers, carmakers often choose to compromise the styling so it will not offend 95% of the consumers. However, the compromized product will probably not excite most consumers, either.
A Modular Design for Styling: This modular design of automotive light lens cover allows consumer to choose what head and tail light designs he or she likes independently of reliability/quality, performance, fuel economy, and cost of a car. It offers an aftermarket choice of changing the head and tail light design after purchase of a car. This modular approach provide the most effective way of offering consumers the most possible choices of the head and tail light styling. It is easy to install and remove by a consumer - just attach or remove the lens covers and you are done. It doesn't affect the function of the head and tail lights. The consumer can also "update" the styling of his or her car by replacing the installed lens covers with newer designs.
