Methane Harvesting

Methane gas is too precious to be released into the atmosphere when there are possibilities to harvest it.
Many organisms are producing methane (biogas), from bacteria to companion animals like cows.
In recent time methane is also a subject of many discussions concerning the global earth warming.
Here, an idea is presented to collect the gas from the stomach of an e.g. cow.
A light weight gas tank is placed on the back of the cow and fixed by an adaptive flexible belt.
A stomach tube is placed at the suitable place, which might be done by minimal invasive intrusion by an expert. The methane gas is pumped out of the cow’s stomach, flow/pressure-regulated and filtered by a smart battery and solar operated device on the belt. The tank can be discharged when the cow is in the stable for milking.
