The new product idea is nicknamed the A-STAR Advanced Superior Tactical Aero Rotorcraft, which has agility control ability via full dimensional thrust vectoring techniques. The A-STAR can be branched from Unmanned Air Vehicle to Manned Vehicle into Safe Air Travel also known as 3 Dimensional Travel. Technologies proposed in this program are to evolve from existing known technologies never before integrated into a full controllable flying vehicle. The proposed propulsion systems start with adaptable engines and the revolutionary Superconductive Electro-Magnetic Propulsion System motors.

Technical Description A-STAR
Mission statement: The Solution Vehicles Co. is to produce the A-STAR Leading edge Aerocraft Vehicles poised for tomorrows needs in Military & Civilian applications with safe, efficient & agile technologies combined for user friendliness.

1.0 THE TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES to be demonstrated are:
2.0 ADVANCED VERTICLE TAKE-OFF AND LANDING (VTOL) and AGILE MENEUVERABILITY
The proposed three-dimensional thrust vectoring vehicle has the potential to outperform the APACHE and even proposed LHX helicopter. The Airfoiled designed Disk Flying body has a Pusher fan jet with thrust vectoring to perform at over 400 Knotts.
3.0 IMPROVED SURVIVABILITY and VULNERABILITY
Characteristics-Aural Level will be 80% less than a Helicopter because of its sound absorbing ducting system. A small radar cross-section will be apparent due to improved shape and RAM materials. Defensive and offensive armament can be packaged into the A-STAR’s design.
4.0 BUILT-IN RECOVERY SYSTEM
The recovery shoot system and locating beacon system will be demonstrated to show pilot & vehicle safety.
5.0 COST-EFFECTIVE PRODUCIBILTY & MANUFACTURING
The A-STAR program will provide producibilty studies and modern plans to manufacture in a manner of Lower Cost Techniques (i.e., RTM, RIM & Automated Systems) to manufacture at a >50% cheaper than an AH64 APACHE approach.
6.0 RELIABILITY and MAINTAINABILITY, LOGISTIC S
Improved simplified design by reviewing with “Pit-Stop” repair and utilizing reliable Commercial Off The Shelf COTS equipment as much as applicable to provide >70% better than existing Helicopters.

Additional Technologies for the POWERPLANT will start with convenmetional JEt, then evolve into Electro-magnetic Hub Motors and eventually SuperConductive Electromagnetic Propulsion to drive the counter rotation fans.
