According to the present invention (INDIAN PATENT FILED: 2227/DEL/2006) we use energy, conveniently in the form of laser or other energy rays to increase the thermal energy or to decrease the density of a common medium. The energy could be configured so that the movement of a moving object through that medium is either eased or enhanced or
Energy can be used in many forms such as lasers, energy radiation, and mechanical energy and in some cases in the form of fields. Energy is configured so that the movement of a moving object through a medium is either eased or enhanced or both. The movement could be eased due to the decrease in the density or decrease in the number of colliding particles to it i.e. friction offered by the medium (drag) is decreased. The movement could also be enhanced due to the variation in densities of the medium.
A specific embodiment will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: -

Referring to figure 1 there is a missile 1. On the head 2 of the missile there is a laser emitting instrument 3. The range of the laser could be short and it should be able to cover the whole air that comes in contact with the head or surface of the missile. The laser increases the thermal energy or decreases the density of the air it acts upon.
The laser is configured to act on the air in such a pattern so that the motion of missile is either eased or enhanced, or both.
Referring to the figure 2 there is a rocket 4. There is one or more laser devices 5 fixed to the ground which have high range. When the rocket is launched the laser devices are configured, so that it acts upon the air which comes in contact with the rocket, and acts on it in such a way that the motion of the rocket is either eased or enhanced or both. The rocket's movement could be eased due to the decrease in drag by air. The rocket movement could also be enhanced due to the variation in air densities, due to which the rocket velocity could be increased.
This invention relates to favoring movement of an object in a medium. We use energy conveniently in the form of laser or energy radiations to decrease the medium density or increase its thermal energy. The energy is made to act in a specific pattern, on the part of the medium which comes in contact with the surface of the moving object. Thereby easing or enhancing or both, the motion of the object.
