Orentrix Aircraft Tracking System was designed to solve the very problem of the still missing Malaysia Airline Flight MH-370.

This system transmits aircraft flight data including aircraft GPS location as SMS text messages every two seconds during normal flight status, and every second during an emergency, which ensures that up to the last two seconds aircraft GPS location is always available and immediately accessible online to authorized parties.

This Orentrix Aircraft Tracking System can be deployed “now,” as in “today.” This system has two built-in satellite telephone systems, from two very reliable satellite system providers, Inmarsat and Iridium, and both these providers have global coverage. And their existing satellite phones are commercially available to the general public and are already being used on board aircraft and their phones have SMS texting capabilities.

This system transmits the data collected by the data loggers as SMS text messages to Inmarsat and Iridium satellites which will be received by their respective land stations’ message center for storage, which is already the standard procedure for all the other text messages.

However, in this system, the text messages stays at the message center and does not get texted out to other cellular phones or other PC. In this system, aircraft flight data can be immediately accessed online by authorized personnel, which will prove crucial in locating the aircraft, in the event of an aircraft disappearance such as the Malaysian Airline flight MH-370. The transmission of data every two seconds during normal flights situations provides a search window of only 0.31 mile, and only 0 .16 mile during emergency situation.

Added features: This system has a Power Switch and Power Supply Override system, which allows the system to function if in flight, even if the power switch to the unit is turned off, or even if the aircraft power supply to the unit is disconnected, The system’s built in chargeable lithium battery has the capacity to power the unit for several weeks if needed. This Power Switch and Power Supply override in this system, prevents what was reported to have happened in Flight MH-370, that the power switch was turned off on the Aircraft Transponder, which prevented this aircraft from transmitting identifying signal to the search team. That even if the power switch is turned off and/or the aircraft power supply is disconnected, this system will continue to transmit these crucial data.

In the event of an emergency, this system will immediately transmit aircraft data to Inmarsat and Iridium emergency message center, instead of the regular message center. And any text messages sent to the emergency message center, automatically alerts the proper agencies by phone. These two emergency message centers have different phone numbers from the regular message centers.

SMS text messaging is a very robust and reliable system, and very cost effective. It is projected that the combined monthly cellular “phone bill” of this system will be less than $500.00 for each aircraft. This amount is very low in the airline industry.

I found a solution based on well proven theory that one way to lessen the effect of the massive vibrational and motional energy of earthquakes is to convert these energy to heat- and this is exactly what my invention is. And further strengthen the integral bind of these Energy Absorbers and the concrete by incorporating these concrete reinforcement fibers, as these concrete reinforcement fibers have been proven and accepted by the construction industry to increase the strength of concrete structures.
