PEUGEOT BOXER is a diesel engine 2500 cc with maximum 80 hp with max speed of 120 km/hr which is building in an ambulance car with power steering. This model was produced in 1998, this car is front drive axis with engine in transverse position.

But this engine is rarely in my country. For 2 years this engine is stuck up I try and try to fix another longitudinal diesel engine in a transverse position but I failed because there is no enough place to fix engine there.

Then another idea is appearing to fix another small gasoline transverse engine with suitable idea to fix this engine with PEUGEOT transmission.

I begin to search for another small gasoline engine until i found FIAT 128 engine 1980 model. The FIAT 128 gasoline engine is popular in my country. Fiat 128 is 1100 cc with maximum 45 hp with max speed 100 km/hr and this engine is non-power steering. This engine was a proper engine to fix then I combined FIAT 128 gasoline engine with PEUGEOT transmission and make another modification to fix power steering for FIAT engine.

The FIAT 128 engine started running and the result was amazing. The car is running very smoothly for 10 months until now. When I measure the weight of new mixing PEUGEOT - FIAT ambulance car it was 1950 kg when it was empty and the ambulance takes 5 persons with average weight is 70 kg then the total weight is 2300 kg with average maximum speed is 90 km/hr.

When I measure the weight of the original FIAT 128 car it was 750 kg when it was empty. But FIAT car has 4 persons with average weight is 70 kg then the total weight is 930 kg.

When I look to new my mixing PEUGEOT – FIAT ambulance car I feel happy. I learned to never give-up to catch up my idea to create it.
