The objective of this idea is to provide an alternative mechanism of transportation , instead of an internal combustion engine, which is pollution free, a fluid which is renewable, efficient and at the same time not sacrificing the practicality of an I.C engine.
The air-hydro-hybrid system can be the solution, here the vehicle carries two sources of power, the front drive is powered by an air-hydro system, which constitutes of compressor, hydraulic motor, hydraulic pump, fluids etc..now this compressor sucks in air from the atmosphere, as soon as the electric motors starts. This air is compressed and is sent to the hydraulic pump where the air forces the fluids into the pump creating a high pressurized hydraulic force,which then goes into the hydraulic motor where the hydraulic force is converted to angular displacement and torque. The mechanical efficiency of an hydraulic motor is approximately 85%(depending upon the components used), the front side of the compressor is fitted with a turbine blades which is kept at an angle of 45 degree opposite to the direction of the wind to achieve maximum efficiency. This turbine is connected to a alternator or dynamo where the turbine spins to produce current, which is connected to a rectifier where the A.C supply produced is converted to D.C supply and finally it is connected to the battery where it is charged from the moment the vehicle starts to move.
The rear drive is powered by an electric motor with the help of batteries. The batteries used depends on the factors such as temperature, pressure, rate of self-discharge ,cost etc...
The vehicle starts with the help of the electric motor and will continue to move in electric power until the car reaches a constant speed of 50 KMPH (based on obtained data). Simultaneously in the mean time the compressor compresses the air and is ready to pump the fluid into the hydraulic motor. Once the car is above the 50 KMPH mark the electric motor stops and only the hydraulic system works but the battery is being charged at all stages. This improves the range of the vehicle to ~ 45%, This technology is reliable ,pollution free, hazard less, practical, cost conserving,battery span is increased by 30% and is the "FUTURE"
