Stop Consumer Exploitation

Consumer exploitation has been one of the major problems facing most countries especially where a fixed price policy has failed. You will experience that in most of our banks, hotels, supermarkets, and other product and service providers, the prices of the same product/service, brand and quality varies from shop to shop.

This problem has led to increase traffic of window shoppers, wastage of time and high cases of consumer exploitation.

This project is all about a system whereby the consumer installs software (apps) in a smart phone or computer, after the installation process the consumer can then type in all the goods/services she intends to buy. The software will then automatically give him/her the total price of the commodity and the name of the nearest and most affordable store/supermarket/bank/or hotel.

This will actually save the consumer from exploitation and also reduce the time/money spent on window shopping. It will eventually also help the government in price control.

HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS
SEE THE ILLUSTRATION I.E
information flows from the seller(shops) to a central processing center and to the consumer. The two way flow from the the consumer to the central processing center indicates that the consumer first sends a request(quotation) and the Processing center compares the consumer information with what it has. After comparing the information it then sends back the feedback to the consumer. The feedback may be inform of the cost of the product ,name of the seller and the location of the seller.Actually it will pick the cheapest seller and nearest seller in terms of the distance from the consumer location.
