The project is an automated platform for the treatment of ankle injuries controlled by android app where the user can program the movement, speed and time for exercise the ankle according orthopedic or medical recommendations, and also can move the platform manually through a virtual jostick on the app.
The app sends the programmed commands via Bluetooth to a PIC microcontroller to control the PWM for two servos (X and Y movement).
This treatment allows ankle injuries recover more quickly and safely, because the patient's movements are electronically controlled and automated parameters only under medical recommendations.
