Fuel-saving Visual Traffic Indicator

This is a relatively simple off-the-shelf upgrade to the brake light system on present-day automotive and trucking light visible signal installations. It exhibits, at variable distances and while moving in the traffic flow, a means by which the driver may visually sense the speed and/or stopped characteristics of the forward traffic so as to economically regulate forward speed and braking in order to conserve fuel. Such a system may also provide an additional safety environment for the traffic flow overall.
