Drivers relying on just a cell phone and the 911 system do not have a complete safety net. A visual cry for help is always legal. Expert first responders recognize that “simple” is best for saving lives. My rugged and patented answer is a license plate frame that, at the push of a button, turns into an emergency signal and flashes “HELP” “911."

Problems solved:
1.Cars do not have emergency signals. Car companies focus on what happens during a crash, not after.
2.The average arrival time for first responders in the US is 15 minutes.
3.109 vehicle deaths per day waiting for first responders. Not all emergencies are accident related.
4.Vehicles cannot be pinpointed by the 911 system, especially in parking garages.
5.Government prioritized 911 calls don’t encourage confidence - all first responders know that a driver must involve Good Samaritans for better survivability while waiting.
6.Only 2.5% of ER arrivals have been helped by a Good Samaritan in the field. Now, Good Samaritans will know when their help is needed.
7.38,000,000 deaf/hard of hearing cannot dialogue with 911 after leaving their house -they need others to help them. My emergency signal can be their “voice”.
8.Kelly Blue Book found that 64% of women buying new cars wanted more safety. features. The reason for this is that women live with a fear of vulnerability and want more control. When women think of “car emergency”, they don’t limit their imagination to a flat tire on the freeway like men do.
9.The mobile electronics industry has self-identified the need for products for “soccer moms”.
10.Males tend to make lists of the daughters, mothers, and grandmothers of who they’ll buy a unit for.

What to expect:
1.Profits - my emergency signal has a visceral showroom impact and gives women the feeling of having more control. All of my demonstration units sold for $700 on an $8.00 cost in a new car dealership. By dropping the price, I expect 24,000,000 units to be sold.
2.My market survey indicated 62% of respondents were extremely/very likely to buy at least one unit.
3.Data monetization - almost guaranteed forever-on phone location in feature rich units (blue tooth, phone chip, OBD port).
4.Low risk - supply chain and liability.
5.Takes advantage of the most valuable real estate on a vehicle for advertising.
6.Every life saved will stimulate astronomical free advertising, good will, and positive PR.
7.Create jobs - 35,000 distribution/installment outlets will need to hire more workers.
8.Any church or organization that believes in saving lives and helping others can use my emergency signal for fundraising activities.
9.Males purchasing a unit will be seen as thoughtful and caring while they “make points” by recognizing and alleviating women’s fear of vulnerability.

    Spending 8 years in bed as a result of a auto accident, I had time to reflect on how “being connected” does not make a “complete safety net”. Most people don’t have a slew of first responders in their back pocket, so I search for ways to help victims to be realistic and not rely on government “to be there right away”. I want the people that I love to have every chance to be helped and survive.
