Sherlock/ SOLIDWORKS 3D Integration
As products containing electronics become more ubiquitous throughout everyday life (i.e. wearable electronics, self-driving cars, drones, etc.) they can significantly impact consumer safety. This information is vital for simulating circuit card assemblies as close to reality as possible and improving overall product performance. Sherlock/SOLIDWORKS 3D is the only CAD to CAE solution on the market that provides reliability physics predictions of an entire PCBA. Reliability Physics is a science-based approach that uses knowledge of failure mechanisms to predict reliability and improve product performance. Available July 31, 2018, Sherlock/SOLIDWORKS 3D requires SOLIDWORKS 2018 and Sherlock 6.0. The SOLIDWORKS FEA package add-on is required.
