Rideable Carry-on Electric Vehicle is a motorized suitcase which is designed to overcome the burden of carrying luggage. A person can sit on the suitcase and drive. It provides a comfortable ride and can be easily controlled. The structure of the smart suitcase is made of high strength aluminum. It travels at a maximum speed of 25 kilometers per hour and it consists of a telescopic handlebar. The suitcase can be switched ON by the key provided, after which it is accelerated and the handlebar is used to control the direction of motion. A lithium ion battery is used in this vehicle, which can be easily charged in 3-pin 5 volt socket, and it has a runtime of six-seven hours.

This vehicle has been specially designed to make travelling easy as it nullifies the difficulty to carry luggage and saves time. It can be used in airports, railway stations, malls and tourist sites for easy and time managed traveling. It provides a comfortable and easy mode of transport in these places. This Rideable Carry-on Electric Vehicle has pouches to accommodate luggage which can weigh up to 15 kilograms, considering a human's weight to be 80 kilograms approximately. No brakes are provided on this electric vehicle, as it comes to rest automatically when the accelerator is released. The design has tested mathematically and analyzed in CREO to determine the load withstanding capacity.

This electric vehicle can be driven by people of all age groups, and the users can easily control its direction & speed. Power lock provides added security to this electric vehicle as only the person with the key can ride this vehicle. Without the key, this vehicle cannot be switched ON. When the Key is inserted in the slot and when the vehicle is switched ON, a red light can be seen as indication of power supply. Thus, the user can only operate the suitcase when he/she has access to the key, thereby improving its safety of operation & prevention of theft.

The handlebar used in this Rideable Carry-on Electric Vehicle is telescopic. The user needs to pull out the handlebar for riding this vehicle. According to the requirement of the user the height of the handlebar can be adjusted. When the vehicle is not in use the handlebar can be put back to the original position.

The chassis of this Rideable Carry-on Electric Vehicle is made of 6063 aluminum alloy, as this type of alloy possesses higher mechanical strength and it is heat treatable. The body of this vehicle is 24 inches long, 12 inches wide and 17 inches tall. LB 27 - microcontroller is used in this vehicle. Some of its unique features includes quick stow, easy access pockets for tablets and phone, and you can relax on your luggage with a personal cushioned seat. Instead of lugging around your heavy suitcase, this vehicle lets your luggage do the work of carrying you around.
