Baskar Vairamohan is a Senior Project Engineer at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). He is primarily involved in the Energy Efficiency area in the Power Delivery and Utilization sector of EPRI. His current responsibilities include research activities in the area of residential appliances, industrial process heating, advanced motor technologies and power supplies for consumer electronics.

He received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Anna University, India in 1999 and his M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2002.
