Inspired by: Time working with Sir Arthur Clarke. While the earth has been an amazing cradle for the human race, Without some new exotic propulsion the fate of the human race rest on the stability of the earth. The last 3000 years has been a relatively calm tectonic and meteorological period, but there is no way to predict how long the stability will last. Climate change and a shifting geomagnetic pole position could be leading indicators of an ELE. I hope that in some small way my work will help the human race to move beyond the cradle into the stars from which they came.
