SPLT is an all-encompassing auto tech and mobility platform. SPLT’s enterprise carpool product (for iOS and Android) works within closed networks, addressing traffic congestion harming our economy’s productivity, time, and money. Employers benefit from reduced parking, retention and attraction, sustainability metrics, and more. SPLT is also working with OEMs to integrate our software into vehicles.

The idea has evolved and grown over time, but it first came about four years ago when Anya was working in Los Angeles and staying at a hotel. She took the hotel shuttle back and forth every day until one day it was completely booked. She "split" the ride that day with two other guests at the hotel and the birth of SPLT. The sharing of rides, ideas helped bring the first version of SPLT – an app for people traveling in the same direction to share the cost of a taxi in urban areas. After living in Los Angeles and New York City, two of the most congested cities in our nation, it was the right time for her to focus on reformatting cities through innovations in technology.

For our customers, SPLT solves issues around parking reduction, access to work, sustainability, retention and attraction of employees, and more. SPLT is focused on the livability of our cities and the sustainability of citizen’s ability to meet and move with freedom. SPLT was founded to reduce carbon emissions by reshaping the landscape of mobility. SPLT recently launched in Mexico City, which has the world’s worst traffic in the world. SPLT is taking on world problems. This unique feature-set appeals to employers, many of who are searching for methods to retain and attract workers, and provide additional benefits. The SPLT platform lets users connect with someone new to potentially spice up their otherwise boring commute. SPLT gives users complete control over their ridesharing experience. SPLT’s Non-Emergency Medical Transportation solution exists to address the 4.5M missed medical appointments per year through on-demand transportation to enable greater healthcare access.

Working within closed networks, the B2B approach creates greater density and participation, and proven scalability, currently reaching 120,000 users in both the US and Mexico. SPLT is simultaneously working with OEMs to be the first carpool software in-vehicle. SPLT’s vision of becoming an integral part of the multimodal, smart-city future, providing mobility access for employers, universities and municipalities. SPLT is making cities of the future more livable, sustainable, and breathable.

The team has found traction with large scale customers including DTE Energy (Detroit), Honda (Columbus) Magna (Troy), Bosch (Mexico) Munich RE (Cincinnati), PG&E (San Francisco), Exelon (Chicago), and Ford (Dearborn). Our pipeline has over 150 companies representing 1M employees and over $3M of recurring revenue.

With a headquarters in Detroit, we understand that the time is now to start building towards the future of mobility and the connected and autonomous vehicle. SPLT fits perfectly within this future as our carpool software engine allows for shared mobility to occur as an added layer to connected transportation.

Most of all, our customers inspire us to build out our product further to fit their needs. The stories we hear of how SPLT is impacting and becoming a part of daily life is all the motivation we need to design towards the future of transportation and smart cities. Last, our vision is to change the way people meet and move worldwide by providing reliable, affordable mobility access for all.
