Liquid Level Controllers (LLC) can be used for level monitoring & pump control in many applications such as in tank, reservoir, sewage plant, swimming pool & mixing plant for many different conductive liquids. Refer to figure 1 for product image.

Imagine you have a tank—maybe it’s filled with water, chemicals, or different conductive liquid. The liquid level controller keeps a watchful eye on the level of liquid in the tank. Whether you are filling the tank or preventing a messy overflow or emptying tank & preventing pump from dry run, this controller is your trusty sidekick. It ensures that the liquid is maintained at just the right level.

The invented & designed efficient and size optimized circuits and easily available miniaturized components without compromising on specifications and safety parameters. The miniaturization does leads us to focus on Thermal Management, Standard compliance in term of creepage & compliances. Those were handled through innovative placements.

The small form factor of the GIC liquid level controller offers several advantages:

How It Works:

Its working principle is that the device detects the change in resistance due to the presence of liquid in the tank. Refer figure 2 for connection diagram.

The novelty is as below:

  • This device has a wide resistance sensitivity to a variety of conducting liquids, which allows us to minimize the use of multiple devices having distinct sensitivity ranges. Having multiple modes of operation like resistivity mode selection, Sensitivity selection, Control delay time selection, single and double level mode selection. This help detection right from Saltwater to Distilled water application. This is being achieved through combination of Hardware and Firmware Architectural design
  • The device feeds AC signal to sensor probes which eliminates ionization at sensor probe.
  • The device synchronizes excitation frequency of a level sensor probe with input line frequency, allowing multiple devices to operate in the same tank. It works independently without affecting the operation of another devices. Refer figure 3 for Multilevel operation
  • The Developed products can be used in Industrial & Residential applications. Residential application needs to follow stringent level of user safety & electromagnetic emission.
  • The key feature of this device is that all the above-mentioned features and safety parameters are packed in a casing of just 17.5 mm (about 0.69 in) width. Miniaturization makes it easier to manufacturing, transportation.
  • This product is designed to comply with UL Safety certification standards and adhere to the RoHS & REACH directive, showcasing a commitment to environmentally friendly practices by restricting hazardous substances.
