Inspired by: For me it is about developing technology that empowers local communities in LMICs. There are lots of resources sent to LMICs but rarely do people put in the time to design something that will work in these settings. The assumption is that a great machine will work anywhere but this is not the case, it needs to be altered to best suit it's new environment if not a different machine entirely.
