Inspired by: Congestive heart failure (CHF) is a common disease affecting the aging population and is the leading cause of mortality worldwide despite significant progress in detecting, monitoring, and treating the illness over the last century. CHF is one of the costliest disease syndromes affecting over 64 million people worldwide, with treatment costing an estimated .7 billion in the United States alone in 2012. Moreover, from both current clinical standard care and home health monitor perspectives, the management of CHF, especially the early detection and treatment remains a significant health challenge, necessitating the development of parallel and complementary approaches for reliable non-invasive diagnostic and monitoring solutions. The situation became worse as the aging population kept increasing. More than 90% of CHF deaths occur in adults older than 65 years.
