Inspired by: Out of several motor vehicle accidents that occur annually in the world, 53 % of them are related to blind zones. The National Traffic Highway Safety Administration (NTHSA) believes that the numbers may be higher and is increasing each year. All the current technologies addressing blind zones has live interaction with the motorist that may disorientate them at some point due to an overload of stimuli and they would be unreceptive to the warning signs over time. The IVS is based on the very principle that blind zones can be effectively reduced by adjusting the rear mirrors without any external stimuli.
